How To Weld an End Table [GUIDE]


Make your own industrial-style indoor/outdoor end table with this step-by-step welding project.

 

Tools and Materials Needed:

Steps:

Pieces of cut metal laid out on a worktable.
Cut and notch all the parts needed for the project.
Operator welds a corner piece.
Tack and square all four corners of the top and bottom sections.
Operator MIG welds on the frame.
Weld all four corners of the top and bottom sections.

Tack and square a cross beam support on the top and bottom squares.
Operator MIG welds on the cross beam.
Weld the cross-beam support on both the top and bottom squares.
Operator grinds the metal piece.
Grind all the corners until they are smooth and flush.
Operator tack welds while holding a table leg.
Tack and square the legs into all four corners of the top square.
Operator welds the table legs.
Weld the legs onto the top square.
