    Hello, call me dcutty.

I'm looking for info on Airco CV-450 (MA) Aircomatic. Its currently set up as a mig welder. But it looks like I could use it for tig and stick. Anybody know anything about these old welders?

You need ro give all the information you have available, but just from the title, it seems to be a CV machine (Constant Voltage), for Mig and Flux- core use, rather than a CC machine, (Constant Current), for Stick and Tig use,

Unless somewhere on the machine, it indicates CC-CV, it isn't usable for all four processes. Also, it probably requires 3-phase power or a converter, if it is 450 amp output,

Welcome aboard! That sounds an interesting machine. Got some pics?
