Handler 210

Does any one know about the handler 210 that northern tool offers? I did a search but no results. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Where did you see Northern offering one? It wasn't an "Ironman?"

Is this a new Hobart product I've never heard of? How come it isn't listed up above here under the "PRODUCTS" tab?

Surely NorthernTool wouldn't post something that didn't exist.......would they?

nope...i did the same thing and i'm still seeing Handler 140.

now...go up to the "PRODUCTS" tab at the top of this page and drop down one bar in the drop-down menu and click Hobart Welding Products then go to the right and click MIG Welders and see what comes up.....no Handler 210 there....just the Ironman 210.

Wonder why N.I. would advertise a welder that isn't even advertised on Hobart's own website? Hmm.....?

PS: if there's something I don't know and one of you HOBART guys out there would like to confirm the not-secret-anymore existence of a Handler 210 out on the market, i'll be happy to rearrange me opinion.....

yup it definately reads 210, the zoom image you can read:
230v wire feed welder
25-210amp output

, and would you hookup an aluminum spool gun to a 140??

under the specs tab it reads:
Amperage output: 25–210
30% duty cycle @ 150 Amps, 23V

it is messed up that no one has heard of it including Hobart.

We need a Hobart expert to clear this up, somethings wrong here. I wouldn't expect that light ground clamp on a 210 amp machine.

Could this be a Northern Tool exclusive?

The Hobart Handler 210 is the newest addition to the Handler family of products. The Handler 210 will be in rollout during the next couple of months; therefore, it may not be available in all locations until rollout is complete.

The Handler 210 has an output of 25 to 210 amps which provides the power of larger case welders in the portable Handler case.

The Handler 210 is spoolgun ready. It will directly accept the new optional direct plug-in DP-3035 spoolgun. There's no additional kit required to add or install. The output power of the Handler 210 combined with the convenience of the direct connect DP3035 spoolgun makes the Handler 210 a good selection to perform welding on aluminum in the spray transfer mode.

The Handler 210 will be added to the website in July.

Thanks,

Darrell

Does this mean that 187 owners will be dumping their machines like some did the 180s? I might see a deal I can't refuse if I don't have my Stickmate by then. I love early adopters
