If you were closer, I'd hit you up for a job! I'd be interested in taking a look at your drawings. I have Cadkey and Solidworks, not sure which format those use, but you probably know. Cadkey is probably easier since I have it on my laptop, but either format will work.

My hearty Congratulations, Man o Man you definately get the snazziest shop appearance award. Very nice job on all the pieces and nice fabrication as well. Almost has the appearance of an electronic "clean" room. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, guys!

If anyone wanted the plans but did not get them - let me know. I was bombarded with requests and I may have skipped some of you guys with my constant interruptions - sorry!!

E-mail through my website and I will send the plans to those interested. (sales (at) mxtras.com)

Thanks again everyone. More pics of different stuff in the next week or so - time permitting.

Scott provided plans, pics and text so I could put together an online writeup for him complete with a page for downloading the drawing files.

The writeup can be found here.

After several very intense nights of sorting and measuring, all of my hardware had a new home.

All of the fasteners fit in the small blue drawers (well - most all of 'em) and the larger, bottom drawers are for stuff like hose, tubing and wire, etc. In total, I made four of these sized cabinets - three for general storage and one specifically for fasteners. I just finished painting the last door set on the last cabinet but have yet to install it - this is one project on tomorrow's list.

So - this is how I finally chose to store my hardware. I just knew it was keeping some of you up at night wondering, so I figured I would put your minds at ease so you could finally get some rest. Thanks for your abundant patience!

Happy New Year, everyone!

Scott
