Cutmaster 38 and Firepower FP-25 problems

Hey guys, finally back! Thanks for all the info. The air was not dry at all. The compressor used for some reason gives off alot of water and oil and it goes through the whole system. If I ran the blow nossle into my hand for 10 seconds it would be soaked in oil and water, thats how bad it was. I put a dryer on it but its an old one. Gonna buy some new ones. Now I have a different problem. One of my Cutmaster 38s has the AC light and the temperature light blinking. Fan works fine and its not over heating. I hear a clicking noise coming from inside. Can anyone help? I tried different power sources, differnt fans ect. Also, I have a Thermal Dynamic Firepower FP-25. They don't make this model anymore. My whole torch and cord is total messed up. I contacted Firepower and they want to charge me about $400 for a new torch with cable. The cable is not a problem, I can make that but the torch is my problem. Can make one? Can I use a torch from another plasma cutter? Please help ya'll thanks!

1. Do not just add a dryer. Drain the compressor tank well (something that has not been being done), and put on a new hose as well. the old one is contaminated. that junky oil can ruin that expensive gun on any Plasma Cutter.

2. Verify your supply voltage (use a meter). Unplug unit, flip breaker off, then on, re-plug unit.

3. DO NOT hold the trigger when turning unit on.

4. Check consumables in torch...including O Rings (just replace them).

At this point, you may be in need of service...read your manual (may be able to download on line). Hope this helps. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE WITH THAT WET AIR!!!!

Hey thanks for the answer. We drain the compressor tank 3 times a day.We verified the voltage and its cool. Checked the consumbales, all good. We also serviced it. They are all working fine except for one. Before I did this, one cutmaster 38 was not working. I talked to my technician and he showed me that when he plugs it in, the AC light starts flashing along with the one below is and you heard a ticking, like a relay. He cant figure out whats wrong with it. Can Hotfoot or anyone help? I got the Firepower FP-25 to work with a ghetto set up. Does anyone know where I can buy just the head?

Just another thought...Is your air inlet on the machine opened up to the correct setting? Did you try another dedicated outlet?
