Yard art - guardian

Wheel rim, saw blades, CV drive shafts, slice out of 80 gallon air tank, scrap conveyor rollers. Comes apart so you can move it easier.

Wanted to put a set of shears in the hands but its too easy to walk right in to and poke someone's eye out. Still thinking about a hat of some kind.

Plasma cutter did a decent job on cutting the thick aluminum rim in half.

Now if only it had a leather fig leaf. Saw a huge figure of a man made out of nails, had a steel hinged fig leaf and wife and I saw several girls walk up and LIFT the leaf, and LAUGHED. It was a male figure. Girls will be Girls as Boys will be Boys.

Face is part of a catalytic converter heat shield, body is a one-in The neck), two-out (the legs) Flowmaster, arms are some bends, with fingers cut with my Plasma. Shoes are disc brake pads. All junk from the dumpster behind my friend's muffler and repair shop.

I think Dave D's knees from constant velocitykjoints are particularly cool.. I'm going to collect some of those to use for elbows and knees on my next one. Dave's is much cooler than mine, but I guess the arms and fingers jumped out as what I did on "Annabelle".

thanks for the compliments.

Hotfoot I like your guy too. Neat!.

My hands and feet are really original I took my shoes/socks off and just traced around my big feet with a magic marker. Had blue permanent marker lines on my feet for a few days. Did the same for the hands.

My daughter wants the 'guardian' for her yard. She has one of those water pipes sticking out of the ground with a up/down lever handle valve (don't know what its really called)at the top of it about 3' up. If I put the 'guardian' right in fornt of it the result is you will have to play with his 'you know what' to turn the water on.

That would make for one heck of a conversation piece when their doctor friends come over and they have pool parties. So far she says no to where I want to put it. So I'm going to keep it for awhile.
