Some client photos

My current client is building an Italian "villa" in her back yard. I forged some pieces to fill the gaps in some arches she built. They are 100% hand made. All the material is solid iron. The wall will be finished and weathered in the next few weeks. These photos are not for my website, because the walls are not yet finished. It started raining right as I finished the install so I took them quick.

This photo is of some "feet" I made for a designer. She has a cleint that has some 3' pillars that she wanted to raise up about six inches. The bottom pieces are forged from 1" x 2" solid HR steel. They weigh about 40 lbs each. I have not applied their patina yet so they are still raw.

Very nice job Matt. I'd like to see the column bases when you've done the finish on them. Does it really rain in Arizona?

Great work--as usual. I'd love to know how you're going to patina and finish. I'm in the middle of experimenting with burnt linseed oil, Penetrol, ferric nitrate, phosophoric acid., and combinations thereof.

Matt,

The "feet" are very nice, I also would like to see the pictures of them installed.

Here are the feet with the patina applied. Hopefully I will get a photo of them installed. One of the designers I work with will be putting them in place.
