Fabricators are just like any other contractor in that some are better than others and such. That being said do they have insurance, are they bonded can they show you a drawing or plan of the finished product? If they have all of the above and are well recomended then go for it. Otherwise if they do not have the minimum stuff are you comfortable with them working in your house when you are not their? Any good fabricator worth his salt will have a picture of his work and be able to provide all of the things I asked about and be very glad you asked for them. If he is offended or lacks the requisits, then keep looking till you find one who does. Just a thought.
