Since I have seen a couple of very cool head/foot board threads on here lately, this inspired me to share some pics of a bed that my son and I built for him. We finished it about a month and a half ago and it was quite a project. The wood portion is mountain cedar taken off the farm here in the Texas Hill Country. The metal is square tubing and square solid stock that has indentions along the edges. We used muratic acid to get a good rust coat on it before sealing it up. Anyway it is solid as a rock. We thought of building a couple more to sell but it sure is a whole bunch of work and unfortunately it gives me great pleasure to build something once but if more than one of anything needs to be built, it turns into a Job and I already have one of those.![]()
