    cc/cv info needed

Hey all. It's my first post and I have a question. I have to do a report/demonstration for my welding class on cc and cv welders. The hows it work and why's and such, maybe a little history of the two types. Kinda a last minute thing,I didn't know till Thursday, but I gotta get it done by Monday. So do any of you have any links or site to that type of info?

I've done a couple searches on Google but it comes up with sites advertising their welders and such and I'm tying to get away from those and out of the text book.

    Thanks Alot.

First off, welcome aboard. If you have a question, this is the right place.

To answer your question, try the <gasp> Lincoln website or the Miller site. They have some of the literature in .pdf files you can download for free. The Hobart Institute of Welding Technology ( www.welding.org ) may have something to help you out. Hope this helps.

Mike W; Wow! Great link. Everything you ever wanted to know about welding. Information for beginners and experts. You should post the link under a new heading for that.

I learned something new too (besides all the welding info). If the pictures for illustrations don't open, right click the mouse on the icon and click "show picture". The files are very large and take some time to load.
