    c50 vs c25 gas

Dan answered my questions on the gasses that I started, but he brought up a suggestion of using c50 instead of c25 for increased penetration. For those of you that use it how does it compare to c25 (arc performance, spatter, penetration, puddle control etc?) THanks for any comments.

I believe this gas is 50% argon 50% CO2. i have used this gas quite extensively and is excellent for overhead and vertical welding. It's not as wet and C25, and the weld remains where you put it. The Army made it a requirement in one of my certs. I presently have a mixer that mixes my CO2 with argon at any flavor I want...and I choose 50 - 50.
