    Nice design.

    Not meaning to be critical, but as a possible suggestion, put the nose of the longhorn down onto your plate and just tack it from the backside. That way it won't look like the nose is sitting in a giant booger.

    Good suggestion. I had already made a second one and welded it from the back for that very reason.

    Being and A&M fan myself, however, it is kinda comical seeing the big booger.

    I am a Texas Tech Red Raider myself

    I think it would be cool if you cut almost all the way though the horn and then bent them down so that they look "sawed off"

    I like the idea of the sawed off look. However my Texas-fan friend for whom I made it would likely not appreciate it too much.

    Looks to me like you just need to turn it upside down and then tack the horns from the back.
