window guard paint

I'm planning to make a few iron window guards for the house, what black, non-gloss paint would you recommand?

How about Rustoleum brand? I've never tried their flat paints, but I do know they make nice quality paints that don't require a primer on steel.

Security bars here are normally the same color as the house. so just prime them, and paint 'em with regular house paint.
