    Pictures? Maybe not

I tried again to send a picture and I think I know what is going on now. First I was stumped I did not see the attachment in the preview. Now I can attach them, but they are too large. My photos appear to have on average 204,000 bytes. This format will not accept them. Can anyone suggest a way around this?

I read on another post that the image size is limited to about 112,00 BYTES. Not sure what the exact number is, but you need to make the file smaller. You may want to change the setting on your camera, or use a photo editing software package to make the file smaller. Hope this helps.

Open your picture in photo shop or other image processing progam then "Save As" under new name as Jpeg or Giff image format using minimum quality or resolution. Smaller image size also reduces bytes when done right.

No doubt about it, Mike you will have to reduce the size of your pictures to below 100K bytes. As Roger says you can reduce the quality of your image or you can reduce the size of your image in pixels. You need to reduce 50% at least, and they will upload.

    Here is a scary one!

Rocky, It is so good to be able to see who is Helping out so much on this web site. Now it puts pressure of us to get ours out there. It might scare some people but it sure is nice to put a face on some of the people repling. Keep the pictures coming.
