Tig welded some bandsaw blades today

Actually I had an old worn out blade that I took to work. I cut off some 3" pieces and butt welded the long side. Didn't use any filler and it turned out pretty good. I had the Syncrowave 250 set at 26 amps. I surprised myself.

Awesome, sounds like you had some fun. I just got my Squarewave 175 yesterday and my Grandpa is going to wire me up for 230 today while I'm at school. I'm trying some cokes cans and a cart for it first thing!
