    Thumbs down POS AD Helmet

Well I finally did it I trashed my POS AD helmet.. It's where it belongs,,,in the garbage..
I got fed up with being flashed, it would stop working in the middle of a job and no it was not the sensors being blocked either, batteries were good also. .. I did have fun throwing it on the floor and then kicking it like a soccer ball..

I had problems with Jackson also and got a free replacement

My $300 next generation was difficult to turn on out of the box and ate batteries. $9 worth the batteries every 4 weeks. After 4 months it would not turn on. As it was under warranty I sent it back to them. After 2 1/2 months they still hadn't responded. I sent them a brief, polite email listing the serial number and asked them if they received the lens. Two days later they said they received it and would be sending out a new one. Sent a replacement the next day. The email woke them up. My replacement works perfectly.
I needed a replacement quick so bought one when I sent the first one in. Now I have 1 at home and the warranty replacement lens at work.
Keep the hood. Miller/Hobarts are no better. The Miller headgear is a POS.
