    WANTED!! OLD carbon Arc torch!

    I am in need of an OLD carbon Arc torch for the fair in 2 weeks! Please help me find one!!! I have an old P&H welder that i just restored, and all i need is the carbon torch to complete the set! i have all the original manuals and even the warrenty card for it! i am just missing the torch!!

    Good luck. I tried to find one a few months ago and they're scarcer than hen's teeth.

    Are these the ones that hold a carbon rod at an angle to the main rod? Those would be pretty simple to fab, seeing how you only have two weeks. Are you using it to display, or actually use? The little home units come up every now and then at farm auctions, Thrift Stores, etc.

    There are single-carbon and twin-carbon torches. Go over to Google Books and search on carbon arc welding and filter by preview available or some old date. You will see pictures. It wouldn't be hard to reproduce some for show purposes.

    Hey , want a genuine hat patch from P&H ?
    I still haven't sewn it onto a cap yet.

    FOUND ONE!! Thanks Guys!! it is a nice old one, i just have to put new cables on it, and i have a set of carbons ordered for it.

    Got the axels cut out of the mounts for the small wheels.
    Even those are springloaded.....heavier then those in the pic.
