    Question Regulator

This should be fairly easy--------- Is it a normal thing for the regulator to stick wide open on a year 2002 Handler 175 and send a thousand pounds of pressure into the 50 pound gauge and bloat it up like a Puffer fish? I've worked in the propane business for a few years and this tells me there is something wrong. But, I was wondering if there was some kind of bad regulator that came out on the machine or did I just end up with a deffective one? Thanks a lot (C6)

    regarding puffer fish

No that is not normal but that is the reason I guess they always instruct users to stand to the side and face away from the gages and regulators when cracking open the valves. You were lucky it stayed together. I bet they will give you a new one.

    Thumbs down

No This is not normal for this. We have had these regulators on the Handlers for quite some time now and I havent heard of this till now. Please get with our techs on 1-800-332-3281 and I am sure they will help you get a replacment regulator and I am sure they would like to have this one back for evaluation.
    Thanks
