I noticed some of the other generators, and the BlackMa* 8kw for instance, has an Automatic Voltage Regulator to make sure voltage doesn't fluctuate and stays within spec's. According to my understanding, this is used to maintain voltage spec's when the unit is under light or heavy loads. I do not know; maybe it is needed because there is greater voltage fluctuation with these smaller engined units at various loads.

Does the Champion Elite have this regulation or is it even needed with this unit while using auxiliary power?
