Thank You, Victor! Bonus Helmet Arrives!

The helmet given as some nice swag with the Thermal Arc 181i arrived today (about 3 weeks). Even though I have gone back to Hobart, I figured the keeping of the helmet in my original asking price for that (very nice) TA!

This Tweco (another Victor Company) Helmet has four sensors, a grinder mode, a fairly large viewing glass..but, like my Miller XLIX, the battery cannot be replaced...but my Miller keeps on tickin'! It would be nice if they provided a way to either replace the battery when its time has come, or to send it in for an exchange.

My new one is the Flags and Eagles theme. My Miller is the American Flag ...and was one of the first to come so decorated, I believe. Both are beautiful...but Black would have been just as nice!

Is a tweet and a tweco similar????

Actually, you shouldn't have to ever replace the battery, it charges from the solar array. Mine is umpteen years old and still going strong as well.... Wish I had a grinding mode. Oh well...
