    gas solenoid

I've got a Miller Maxstar 200 STR that I have been re-honing my weld skills on after many years of being away. My stick welding has come along pretty well, and I've gotten the bug to try TIG. The machine is capable as is for lift arc. I know Miller makes a high frequency starter with a gas solenoid, but it's a little pricey, and if I ever buy a dedicated TIG machine, it will become redundant..
So, it there a way to wire in an external gas solenoid so I don't have to worry about turning precious gas on and off?

    Thanks

I have a Maxstar 150 stl, I know it's a different model but mine has a solenoid built in to it already. Are you sure yours doesn't? Just seems strange that a better model would have less features.
