New to site and looking for advise

    Hey,
I'm new to welding and luvin it. I took a course at local community college a couple years back and have been playing around with stick and mig. I have a hobby farm and lot's of projects. I'm finally getting my shop setup and am looking for any advice and ideas I can get. I have a Hobart 140 and an older Lincoln stick welder.

I'm in the process of building a cart for the Hobart. Any advice or pics would be appreciated.

Also any projects around the hobby farm or horse stable would be great.

    Thanks
    Tim

Welcome, tattoo! You have what I'd consider an excellent setup there...a GREAT 140, and that Lincoln will step in to relieve it when you get to 5/16" and greater.

Watch out Tim, it's addictive! Darn handy too.

Try the Lincoln website and search "projects". Lots of fodder for things to build.

Or look for posts on this forum by a member named "Hotfoot". Maybe you've heard of him . He makes some of the most interesting stuff out of bits 'n' pieces, and guaranteed to make you smile.
