Help with more info on this old delta metal bandsaw

I'm about to to to either sell this or trade it for (yet another) guitar. I came into it from a good friend, now deceased, who had recently had a new liner-belt put on the top wheel (the red liner in the pictures). It appears to be capable of changing from one pulley system to another, which then seems to have transmission-type gear reduction box.

He also broke the cast iron table when it fell over on him (not bolted down!!), but luckily didn't break his leg...this thing is all cat iron and HEAVY. I made the plywood table for him, and that's still on it. I cannot recall if I have the broken cast one or not.

The Serial # begins 62-, so I'm assuming its either a "Model 62" or Made in 1962".

I'll list it on Craigslist pretty soon, but would like to give potential buyers a better run-down that wat I've put up here. The buyers will have to be local (Austin/ San Antonio), so if they sare very curious, they can come over and play with it in my shop...if we can burrow a path to it!

That Kalamazoo Band Saw in the foreground is also going up for sale...My Metal Art has pretty much settled into its own direction, and I just don't use these tools at all anymore. (never did use the Delta but once, I think). Some picture are "as received", others after I painted it.

Foot, check the site link below out and see if the saw is the same as yours. If not, there may be another on that site, so keep looking around.

    Here's a Delta 890 with a 62- serial number.

If you go here and filter by band saw, there are many listed:

Foot...I'm not even going to get into why a man would ever sell a tool.

Hmm, I might be interested in either one of those. Any chance I can get you to pm me a ballpark price? Which Craigslist will you be posting it on, S.A. or Austin?

Quick sale. You never know how fast a 1948 vintage bandsaw will wear out.

    Re:

I hope the two vintage machines will be refurbished. If they stopped working, i hope they still keep it for history’s sake.
