Now were those technically Gongs or Bells ?

In the beginning, the Earth was without form, and void.
When one picks up some wood or metal or stone and shapes it into something usefull
... I beleive that it has to be a deliberate effort to disavow a creator.

As you work these, and join them, you feel the force and the will of He
who formed and shaped the very resorces that you now add your will and force to.
Further one surely can know when your will and force is not aligned with His.

    Phil,
A "Gong" is a convex metallic disc. (Saucer shaped).
So no they are bells. In-fact all the so called "gongs" made from high pressure bottles are "bells" not "gongs".

I got one for you. Say someone ordered 100 ft. of "angle iron" and when the shipment came in it was indeed "iron" instead of mild steel, I bet it would get sent back. Me personally I call it "angle" (without the word iron attached to it) and I always get what I ordered..

    Me too !
    I'll take a 16 footer of 1/4 x 2 x 3 angle, and a 20 foot lenght of 4" heavy-wall channel.
Also 2, 1/3 pounder Frisco- Burgers, supersize fries and a Rootbeer.

    cheers.

Well Jim if it don't then there's a problem. That would mean the "gong" is gone out of the bell...

I have a couple of those Burmese spinning gongs. They have a far-out sound. My big one is about a foot across, but I did see one in Burma that is about 10 feet across at the bottom. No telling how many tons that weighed.
