    Huntsman welding hood 990 quick slide?

    I'm wondering what dues the Quick Slide (lever on top of hood) do? Dues it move the lens up for grinding or is it a quick change for lens changes?

    Yep, it lifts the shaded lens straight up. The outer clear protector stays put.
