Well, I got a lot of practice on this project. I went through the roll of wire that came with the welder and went and got more. I did get the flux core nozzle and that helped a lot getting into those tight corners. I followed the advice to slightly angle towards the thicker material, 5°-10°, and that worked like a champ. I still need a lot more practice so I think I may make that 1.75 angle into a square rod with wire. Just kidding but I am going to keep going 'cause this is lots of fun. I may even take a pic of my simple frame and add it here one day. Thanks for all of the encouragement everybody!
