I am very happy with mine
I have 4 Viking hoods...2 different models...I use them for beginner welders coming into my shop...They are easy to use and operate. I like the controls on the outside...again, easy to operate. My only complaint might ne the head gear...they tend to run small...Mig, Tig or Stick welding, they perform great...Plasma, oxy-fuel...no issues. Cost, I find to be reasonable...Kids like the variety of designs
I recommend them to all of my students if they are looking for a new hood...

How well does it work with very low amperage TIG? I bought a Miller Digital Elite because my other helmets would flash me when backing off the pedal at the end of the weld, often resulting in the tungsten going swimming in the puddle. The magnetic sensing "X weld" mode is nearly foolproof and is not tricked by fluorescent lights or the sun.
The top-end Viking has a huge picture window viewing area and it would be interesting to try it.
