I have the viking helmet and love it. I originally bought one just for review after getting a string of emails about it. but after using it in my shop and comparing it to my other helmet, the Viking took over my favorite helmet status and I have used it ever since. I have a review with photos and video of it at the link below if details would be helpful.

Thanks Tom, it was very helpful!
Edit: Tom how does it work outside?
Thanks!

I've been thinking of going with one of the Viking helmets also. They have a new one with an even bigger view area being released next week. I've seen online prices around 220 for the new one. May just have to snag one.
The truth is out there, but the server's not responding.
That is the one I was looking at.
I took the plunge and ordered the new Lincoln Viking 3350. They are a good price with free shipping here

They sell the cheater lens. I got a couple when I ordered the helmet.

I bought a slightly used Viking last week. Tried it out for the first time today. I did a little stick welding outside in the yard and it worked great. I also did a little mig welding and plasma cutting. I found the helmet worked great mine has the smaller viewing area. I also used the cheater lense that came with it.
Thanks for the review!![]()
As an update: rep called me and said the Anchor magnifying lens will not work on that helmet as it is too thick. Have to go with a Lincoln.
Those who bought the Lincoln 3350: What do you think? How is the clarity? Headgear any good? Any other feedback?
At about $185. delivered it seems like a good deal.
