    trail camera

a friend of my dad has two trail cameras that he uses during bow season. he needed a case to protect them and since there is no boxes on the market for the cameras, he asked me to make some. about 8 inches wide 7.5 inches tall and three inches deep. when the cameras are not in use for hunting he uses them as security cams on his barn. dual use!

Maybe you will corner the market on camera boxes. Looks like you did a nice job.

Nice job on the boxes, but don't it kinda defeat the purpose of the camouflage? Once again...necessity is the mother of invention.

don't have a photo of mine handy but i happened across an electrical disconnect that was just the right size. with the hasp for the lock and hinged allready. all i had to do was cut out for the lense and flash and drill a couple of drain holes in the bottom. works great!

Nice job and great idea. I went out day before yesterday to change the SD card in mine and it had been stolen. I've used that camera in the same location for the last 4 years without any sign of another human anywhere. I can tolerate just about anyone and anything but I have no use for a %^$# thief!

This is, quite possibly, the ultimate test of a Trail Camera. At the end of the day, you simply want to know whether your camera will take a picture of whatever walks in front of it. Trail Camera finds out which cameras do exactly that, and maybe more importantly, which cameras don't.

Perhaps a second one camouflaged on another tree, each monitoring the other??...or perhaps a booby trap..

y'know...One of these disguised inside the shop would sure be handy to have when some intruder gets in there!..or, better yet, back along the driveway...
