    Question Hobart Welder,,

    Hello All,
I picked up the welder .. I mentioned last week. I have a few questions I hope someone can answer. It has a tag with this info on it..
Amps 350 no ? there but settings wheel/handle only appears to go to 200 amps max .?( is this for a certain application? )
    Max OCV 100
    Volts CC40 / CV30
    100 % Duty Cycle

It has some remote stuff // plugs and switches etc.. I am thinking it is capable of running some sort of wire or heli-arc equip ?Can this machine be used as a regular DC stick rod burner?
I am not sure if it will even put out..
THe engine needs a little work,, but with a supply of a few Perkins in the bone yard at work,, coming up with a starter , alt, and battery cables will be a snap. I will let everyone know when the engine is running.. and I hope to seek tech support on getting the machine to weld. here .. the hour meter shows 1353 for what thats worth you know.. engine turns okay with a screw driver on the flywheel.. so wish me luck..

Also no books or manuals came with it.. I am going to remove the air comp off of it.. It is a different color than the rest of the machine,, I am hoping it is the reason,, the machine started to get canibelized for parts.. all of the welder end of the machine is still all in tach,,, except to the freqency meter,,, it is disconnected.. Is this a bad sign ?? Thanks in advance Robert
