Need some help on farm equipment

My son met this elder woman who owns some land and she said he can have all the scrap metal on it. There's alot of scrap copper he's been getting and small crap steel he has been cashing in. He now cant load the larger pieces into his truck and asked me for assistance. I met with this woman and she said he can have everthing he can get. I pulled some heavy pieces of farm equipment and didnt want to scrap until I find out what they are and what they maybe worth. Here is a pic of one of the pieces. I also may get a galion tractor off the land. Just need to find a way to remove it.

the first three pics are the same piece

Some people will pay big bucks to have that stuff for yard art.

I thought of it being yard art. It looks good sitting in my yard. I wonder if my son will give his dear old dad a good deal if I want to keep it.

Being a part time farmer myself, I'd scrap all of it. Old implements like the pull type disc are fine for yard ornaments but as far as practical, it's nill.

It's like having a Farmall A. Good for show but no go. If it's not at least 100 horsepower, air conditioned and front wheel assist, leave it at home.

Thanks for the info. I didnt know if this equipment was still used today. I'll probably post it on CL for yard art and see If I can get someone to bite.......

It's used but not practical. Someone with a small plot might find it useful but a farmer wants big implements because big, wide implements cut down on field time. When I think of a pull disc, I think of a hydraulic bat wing at least 20 foot wide opened.
