    my new/old ryder bandsaw

Picked up this bandsaw for $75 on cl. The bandsaw is the only tool I didnt have in my collection. I'm a chopsaw guy....Could'nt pass it up....Drove 40 miles to get it. The unit weighs about 200lbs and was made in canada.
Anyone have one of this brand....

I didn't know Ryder made saws until I found a used Ryder verticut. Just finished refurbishing it for resale.

    Great Saw

My grandpa had one of those saws when he lived in Ontario, strong hardware that you have there.

My Wife Would Have Issues lol

Seriously, my wife is OCD period, and if she saw me bring in a piece like that I'd have a choice. Either I can stay, or the new piece lol. Great looking saw though, you could do a lot with that.

That is one band saw built to last. My wife will never have issues with that. We are both lovers of anything vintage 

    J.H. Ryder

I don't have one, but I was made in Canada too!
I only ever knew J.H. Ryder Machinery as a Lift Truck manufacturer. Looked like a rugged old saw!
