    Problems with HH210

Just got a new Handle 210 a couple days ago and got it running today. I have a couple gas leaks though. I can hear it hissing out of the hole on the gauge assembly where you adjust the flow rate. Also with the machine on or off not in use I can here gas coming out of the gun.

    What's up? Is it common?

There should be no gas leaks.

That's what I figured. LOL My luck to have a defective gauge and something in the welder.

You probably have a small piece of debris from the gas supply hose stuck in the in the gas valve. If you do a search you should be able to find past posts covering how to fix this issue.
MigMaster 250- Smooth arc with a good touch of softness to it. Good weld puddle wetout. Light spatter producer.
Ironman 230 - Soft arc with a touch of agressiveness to it. Very good weld puddle wet out. Light spatter producer.

Got a replacement regulator today for the place I bought the welder. Also tried to blow out the gas solenoid and it didn't help. So I took it apart and found a small piece of debris holding the plunger from fully seating. All is well now!

First of all, perhaps you should read the post right above yours where the OP says he's solved the problem already...

Yeah, I think so too. I reported him the first time he showed up here but the powers that be left him alone... his posts are all generic and pointless.

Make that maybe 102 other boards if it's the same user. Rather oddball posts...

I agree, Pop, not quite off-topic, but the posts are meaningless just the same. Spammers are getting smarter, huh?

I like to keep my posts worthless and to the point.

Anyway, DaveJeep, glad it was just a booger in the gas line and a reg.
