    Craigs list plasma

First time post so please bear with me. I want a plasma cutter and have found one on Craigs list that is not very far from me for $700. It is a Thermal Dynamics pac master 75xl. I would like comments on this unit good, bad, stay away from etc. What to look for? Thanks.

Here's a link to download the manual...

    http://www.thermadyne.com/thermaldyn.../categoryID,4/

That's a 55 amp unit, so its got plenty of power. Be sure its demo'ed for you before you buy it (to make sure it works!). The price is about right for a clean, well kept unit. TD plasmas have a nice, fine cut (kerf). Take some scrap pieces with you...not just sheet metal.

Good deals on C'list go fast, so don't sit on your hands waiting around. Take cash, and move fast if its what you want. Don't ask someone to "hold it for you" without a deposit (I ask them to PayPal me $50.00, refundable if they change their mind after looking the unit over).

    TD PacMaster xl

Is the PacMaster 75xl obsolete? How old is it? I can't find it on the Thermadine web site other than a operator manual. Is it made in the USA?
