    Tig welder

I had the opportunity to watch a friend of mine, David Watson tig weld some SS tubing. He made it look to easy and the bead appearance/penetration was perfect. Of couse he has been in the field doing this for a while, working in food processing, pharmaceutical facilities, whiskey distilleries and the such. Hopefully, I can catch him when work is slow and get some pointers. Might have to get a bigger Christmas tree so all the new MM stuff will fit around. Of course I still have one hurdle to go-"The Wife" . She is ok with plasma cutter, she says she has some ideas for it also, but a tig welder?????

Look at it this way: you're already ahead of the curve if she's okay with a plasma, and even has projects in mind.

    ???

That's a good thought, but I must tell you she is from Mississippi and as she tells me she did not fall of the turnip truck yesterday. So, I think I am going to stick with my luck as it is running now. I have a birthday just sround the corner.
