Guys,
Where do you buy 64-1/2" x 1/2" 14 tpi bi-metal bandsaw blades and what brands do you prefer?
I was trying to find Morse, but it looks like they don't make them in this length now.
Thanks!

Get them on line at sears
try grizzly what type of band saw do you have
I just got an old 7" x 4 1/4" horizontal/vertical Craft Industries bandsaw. It's very similar to Jet and HF 4" x 6" saws.
Michael:
I was able to get Morse Bi Metal blades in 1/2" x 64-1/2" in 10 tpi and 14 tpi at my local Graingers. You might try checking Grainger's website. 10 tpi is a little too aggressive for most of the things I cut on my ancient Wilton. 14 tpi seem to work better. Grainger is always a little higher in price, but they stock them locally or I can have them shipped to my door.
Adios
The 1/2 x 64-1/2 is a very common blade. Sears sells Olsen Bi-Metal, not sure about Morse. Lowes, Home Depot, Menards can get them but they ususally have to order them. Our stores only have wood blades. In Columbus EDCO Tool and Supply has been good to me.
Buy them from Enco tool. They have them on sale all most every month for $14.95 each, and yes they are bi-metal blades. Most of the time Enco runs free shipping offers (you can find the free shipping code here on the weld talk web site) if you buy 100 dollars or more of stuff so just make up your wish list along with the blades you need and you will be set.
If you really want to save some money you can weld your own blades. The cost to buy the blade welder and the bulk bi-metal blade will set you back over 500 bucks but if you use your saw to make your living with like i do then in the long run it will end up costing you less than 1/2 price of a store bought blade to make your own.
One thing if you do buy a blade welder just buy the low cost one made for carbon steel saw blades. I did a test with both the bi-metal blade welder ($500 EA.) and the carbon steel only blade welder ($300 EA) and found the carbon steel blade welder (they say in the manual that it will not weld bi-metal blades) welds the bi-metal blades with no problems at all and you will save yourself over 200 bucks too! If you look around you can sometimes find them on sale for 200 dollars plus shipping.

Thank you all, guys!
P.S. I was surprised to see that Enco didn't carry any bi-metal blades of this common size. Whatever they have online marked as discontinued.

I don't know how you came to that conclusion. Here's one right here:

Trailblazer 302 * Millermatic 212 * Syncrowave 180SD * X-Treme 12VS Feeder * Spoolmate 3035
Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 52 Plasma * Lincoln 175 MIG
Victor Superrange II * Victor Journeyman

H-mmm. I used their search here: http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRAR?PMSECT=0000000691 Apparently, the drop box for blade length has a double entry, and one of them (the one I chose) leads to discontinued Irwin blades.
I'll send them e-mail pointing to the error.
Thank you!
