    Big welding job

This is my type of deal, I taped the keys with color and still have problem finding the driver, now it goes with the tool.

I been working for myself a long time with my own equipment so really a lot of the real welding work is done, we do it every day but as we refine our own stuff most of the big ones have been done except for some minor new projects. 90% of it is like this, washer, nut bolt, tack a tab or bracket, we do a lot of small jobs.

Yea, that beats trying to bolt that together. Little migs are great for all sorts of stuff like that. Small gun and all.

Sberry, Did you MIG those jobs or stick-weld them? I could come up with lots of jobs like that around the shop, if I could learn to stick-weld worth a darn!

Most of them get the mig, we have a small unit that pretty much has its home at the bench so things can be done similar to a pit stop if needed. Most of them could be done stick but the wire is definitely easier and faster. I get tired of taking pics, we normally do some of this nature daily. Very rare a day goes by we dont weld something, we do a lot of bolt and screw work also but sometimes welds are the answer even if it is just tack a nut. Later this week an engine change from a Mopar to a Chevy, will need new motor mounts. Most of it isn't real sophisticated.
