Hi, I have a question for ya all, up here where i live there is alot of older 12 and 14 wide house trailers that the county wont let people move to live in anymore anything older then a 1978 is not allowed. So there is a few people strip the house part off of it and have this gangle frame left, no much good for making a pull trailer with out a lot of cutting and welding and down sizing, so my question is why couldn't you cut the frame at say for example 25 feet, make two sections and if you wanted 12 foot walls go and notch the frame at 12 feet, at what ever angle you want for rafters weld together both sections and then set it up right, leaving the perlins if you will still in place, instant 12 or 14 wide by 24 foot section of clearspan building. weld two sections together and have a full 24x24 metal framed building, set it on concrete foundation cover with metal or plywood.. sure looks inviting to me,hope you understand what i'm trying to say, being the price of steel or lumber these days , why not recycle, sorry for being so long winded......![]()
