    Vista 3000 Welding Helmet

I just got a Vista "Lincoln" 3000 Auto Darking Hood. I tried it for the first time Yesterday. I seems to work Great. The viewing window is 3 7/8" X 3 1/8". When your welding it is hard to tell you are even looking thru a hood. Which very nice. I have always liked having the big viewing area. It also has 4 Independent Sensors which was a big feature for me do to some of the places I have to weld. If I could have bought one of the Plain Black I could have got it for $244.00, however they are having problems with the Paint Gloss and said those wont be out until Mid-May so I had to buy one of the Graphic ones which cost me more $$. I would have waited, but I broke my Speed-Glas a couple of weeks ago. Overall this seems to be a good hood I am still not sure if I like the Head Gear time will tell.

hiluxxulih, just an FYI I have been having some trouble with the outer lens fogging up on the inside. I tried several things to clean it to keep this from happening. But know I have made a foam seal from weather stripper and cut it down and placed it on the edge of the auto darking lens this seems to keep the moisture out while my hood is down over my face.
