Talking Engine, pipes on the bike

I got another couple hours to plug away on the Benefit Bike, it getting pretty close to the point where I can start assembling the Robot that's gonna ride!!
These pics are with my phone camera, but here goes (I'm still on a learning curve with it).
Heads are baking pans, Harley cylinders, sheet metal fabbed engine cases, meat grinder carb, coleslaw shredder "nosecone" transmission is a car AC compressor and a part out of a Coffee Maker, lifter blocks are crushed Green Chili cans (yum!) filled with Bondo, gas tank is an old Vacumn cleaner, seat is from an exercise machine (comfort doesn't matter to robots), etc. I don't plan on painting the frame, but rather will spray the whole thing with clear, and may or may not then "Antique" the bike and rider with Walnut Stain...we'll see...

If you ever need a professional and artistic reference:

    To Whom it may concern:

Though Hotfoot has a rampant imagination, I have not detected any statistically significant signs of long-term aberrant behavior. Symptoms observed to date are attributable to predominately temporary effects of fume fever and dumpster diving, and subsequent survival behavior.

Please note, however, that increasingly complex projects may trigger a higher level of unusual artistic expression. Age may also be an operative factor. Your mileage may vary.

    Sincerely

P.S. Than tank sucks! Is it a Hoover?

The tank was a Tri Star vacumn. It has a very nice metallic gold "Tri Star" logo, but it looked too "Yamaha" for this bike, so I removed it when I painted the tank (it was pea soup green), and glued a Harley emblem I had in one of my many resource stacks. I glued a plastic filler cap in that hose inlet right in front of the rider's seat...I thought it looked too suggestive...talk about 'Sucks!!!"
