New member to the forum. I have a new Hobart Stickmate LX AC/DC. (Self gift)
Three questions, what cable connectors are equivalent to the Hobart f/No. 4-No 1.
(Lenco/Tweco) or are they all the same within the same gauge size. (I have one set all ready)
I have 50 feet of new 2 gauge welding cable. I would like to make two 25 ft. cables for a bit longer reach into my back yard. Should I open the box and replace the 4-gage cable with the 2 gage. I would like also to be able use the connectors/disconnector on the cables so that can remove 25 ft cables and replace them with the original Hobart 4 gage as short cables using them in the garage. Good or bad idea?
What is the forums opinion on the New Ground Hog Pliers by Strong HandTools?
The work clamp that comes with Stickmate LX is real cheap.
