    HH175 Generator?

Im looking to get a generator to power my HH175 welder. I was wondering if the welder would run on a generator with a 20 amp breaker if the welder is supposed to be used on 30 amp?

The other obvious thing is that if you run a 30A welder on a 20A circuit, you will be limited to running at 2/3 of the max welding power before the breaker pops.

I run my 175 off of a Briggs 5500 cont/8500 surge watts and it runs like a champ, however when you have the 175 maxed out it is a touch tricky to hold the arc when you first pull the trigger, it drags on the gen but when the gen throttles up it runs great.
