Upload the pic from your camera to your pc, then use the "Manage Attachments" (paper clip icon) button to attach your pic to the thread.

While mere mortals get their recommended daily allowance of iron from a pill - Weldors will take it Cold Rolled or DOM, thank you very much!

1.You can upload a pic from your computer using the Manage Attachments- preferably keeping them at 640x 480 and 100kb.

2.You can direct link them from a Photo Hosting site like Photobucket using the Icon that looks like a Postcard- also keeping the File size 640x480 so that folks with dial up won't have to wait forever for the Photo to load.

640x480 is like so last millennium. Doesn't everyone run two screens? How 'bout 1680 by 1050 with 1280 by 1024?
A proper video card supports two monitors. Upgrade time.

Upgrade our video cards? Hey, there's us guys at work using our laptops! (Shhh....don't tell the boss! )

One note about using the pic hosting sites: there is a time limit for how long they'll host your picture. If you've ever done a thread search on this site and found where someone has used those sites for their pictures, sometimes they aren't there anymore. I'm kicking myself for not checking that earlier for some stuff I wanted to see that Sundown posted some time ago. The pics are gone! ARRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!

Not true of Photobucket, I've been using them for years. My pictures are there as long as I want (or as long as they're in business, anyway.)

That's a good enough endorsement for me, I'll use 'em!

OK Tony, I downloaded Googel Skecth just for you Once you create your model, go to File, Export, 2D Graphic, and pick .jgp, .tif, .png, or .bmp file. One of those you would be able to upload like this.

You could also do a print screen of your desktop and use that pic.

If you need a screen capture program with a little more functionality than printscreen, get Printkey 2000. I've been using the old free one for years. It's small and simple to use. You can capture certain areas, active windows, resize, etc.

    http://www.webtree.ca/newlife/printkey_info.htm

Irfanview has a screen capture function.
