    Question welder problems,PLEASE HELP!

    have a miller cp-250ts mig and s-52e wire feeder.
    The power comes on and wire feeds but not getting any power to teminals.
    is wired for 230 3 phase getting power to jumper pannel.
    no reading on volt or amp meters.
    PLEASE HELP!!
    Have already gone through the trouble shooting without any luck.

    have you tried to weld?? most units have no voltage or current until you pull the trigger and start welding.

    I'm not familiar with your specific equipment, but, the wire feeder trigger not only starts the feed motor, but also closes a relay that sends a signal to your power supply. This signal will operate another contactor that will energize the output terminals. Check your service manuals for the wiring connections.

    It turned out to be wired wrong in the control connector. bought it used and someone didn't know what they were doing to get right.
