    They are single stage.

The Airco line is well represented in the work place, and repair parts are widely available.

Your best bet, unless you have experience rebuilding this type of apparatus, is to take them to a local welding supplier (LWS) and get a quote. It is normally somewhere between cheap and free, depending on wether or not you have a business relationship with the vendor.

    Oxy regulator

I have used a oxy regulator just like it at work for the past 9 years. I burn scrap and need a high flow rate for my rebored tips on the torch. The only problem i have ever had with it,is sometime our gas supplier sends me liquid oxy tanks with a bum evaporator that lets liquid oxy flow through the regulator and does in the rubber diaphram inside causing it to leak. It gets sent back to our supplier for a rebuild (3 times now in 9 years)and i bring in my old trusty victor regulator from home. I cut scrap by the ton for other people on the side,so i have my own equipment at home besides the stuff i have at work. I just built a stand alone evaporator that hooks to the tank so it should be a long time before my regulator needs another rebuild. The only moving part in the regulator is the diaphram and adjustment screw so they are easy to rebuild. The only problem is unscrewing the two halfs apart,if they have been aroud awhile the edges get small dents and you have to use a special jig to get them apart. Sorry im so long winded ,but i've been involved with this trade since i was 14 and im 51 now......sort of pick up information along the way

These are nice single stage regulators and they are rated by Concoa)Airco),to be made for very heavy cutting and welding. As far as rebuilds or parts, there is one guy that really I will trust, plus his work and prices are great. He has many years experience rebuilding torches and regulators. He is in Bowlingbrook,Ill. and also sells on Ebay, under the user torch & regulator repair. He has done rebuild and repairs for me and I have also bought rebuilt regulators from him at cheap prices. If you need to contact him, email me at tooldude56@verizon.net and I will give you his name, email and phone number.
