    Hey Thanks guys!
I've haven't been on here as much as I used to be so I just noticed this post today.

I got some good news yesterday. Merrill Fabricators is hiring 100 welders for their new plant and I am enrolled in their training program for new welders. The orientation is next Tuesday. From what I understand, the training is 200 hrs and the folks who complete the program will be offered a job! Wish me luck!

Goodluck with the training. With the way you weld I don't think you need any training.

Thanks for the vote of confidence!
I do a pretty good job with Mig (the HH187 makes it even easier), but my Tig and Stick skills leave something to be desired and my metallurgy knowledge is very limited. I'm hoping the class will help out with those limitations.
