I like it, Tigster! Those would make neat Business gifts for suppliers, etc. that you deal with regularly. I've gotten a lot of mileage out of a few trinkets I've handed out to folks I get scrap from for my artsy stuff.

    What y'all think?

I think you have created an interesting piece. You should do another one. A pair would nice. You are off to a great start.

just an idea here....but put it on a base and make a way to hold business cards and you have a sellable item...in the business gift vein

yes! i was thinking of the idea of a base, too. i could suspend them above the surface of the base, at different angles, and so forth. i think i will wait till next spring, when i plan on getting a plasma cutter, so i can cut neat and interesting shape bases. thanks for all the input!

p.s.: i actually like to draw and also do oil paintings. so this is another outlet for me. it sure is fun.

Tigster - what size filler rod did you use for the legs? I shamelessly tried to copy yours (hey - I'm no artist - but I can do crafts) but I found it pretty hard to make legs from the 1/16" Tig rod I had. When I finally got a pair done to my satisfaction - they were not stiff enough to keep the little guy upright.
    Now he's sitting legless

    Hotfoot should be honoured too

He's lying on his side right now - the Gecko's got him. I'll finish him off and post him when I get a chance. These were done for the charity auction at work - will see what they go for tomorrow.
