    need to find a source for spark guard

    i have a client that want me to build some custom firescreens,and i can't seem to find the screen material anywhere,any one have a good source?

    Home Depot has screen door perforated metal sheet that might be to your liking.

    metalart if you are planing on building alot of them i can get you the name of the company i bought from the only problem is i believe it was a 100.00 min. which got me 100 square feet i am in the process right now of building two for an outside double fireplace one side will have ceramic glass the other side will have the screen. i searched a while and this was the best place i could find

    My local Thrift Store gets those "soft mesh" fireplace screens in all the time. If you are into recycling that part, which is almost always in excellent condition, that might be a source. I see them in their scrap bin, headed for the salvage yard, because most of that stuff is too used and might have the glass doors broken hinges, etc. That might be a (FREE!) source for you...and its recycling Post-Consumer goods.!! (you get a brownie point for that from a lot of (usually younger) people...and your client might be one of them!

    McNichols is absolutely GREAT to deal with. I bought some 2" wire mesh from them and was treated like I was one of their best customers. I received the material 3 days after the order was placed.

    this is the company i bought the fire screen from. shipped 2nd day got it on the third day.http://www.gerarddaniel.com/index.htmi ordered from the western div.
