Just set up our new MM252!
Just set up our new MM252. I looked on the Miller fourm before picking it up and did not find much on it other than one post that had a bit of info on it:

A few people where concerned about the price, I picked it up from my LWS for $1850 out the door. (They quoted higher but I reminded them of the Ellis 1800 and feed tables we bought just 5 weeks ago) Regardless its priced right in there with the MM251. We also have a MM251 we bought for about the same last Nov.
Do I Like it? So far YES!
First off #1 feature over our MM251 is the slector dials for the speed and volts have soft clicks or gradations. This makes it so you can actually set the volts dead on to what you want vrs. w/ the MM251 getting it close or “hunting” to get it to land right on 19.0v and so on. (Trying to set the MM251 to an exact setting is like trying to stop the gas pump on an even $ amount) No problem with the MM252.
The funky handle it actually a bit easer to grab to move it around. The lower tank mount is OUTSTANDING! The feed system is cool, they put a spring on the top drive so when you unlock the rollers it springs open, nice touch.
They molded holders for an extra set of drive rollers inside as well. The front tray for consumables is kind of clunky to use, but good to have non the less.
I like the extra 3’ on the welder lead, good for the kind of work we do. Of course it came with the standard “eh so so” ground lead and china type clamp. (This never got installed, it will go with the used MM210 this unit is replacing)
So far with limited use we like it a lot. Since it did not cost more, I like the improvements. Time will tell if its everything the MM251 sitting next to it is.
