    Little Chrome Pig

Taking a break from the skulls and guns, today I whipped up this little piggy (HOG to be) to take to the Biker Gathering in two weeks....I'll sell him...so "This Little Piggy Goes to Market". This made from the end of a Harley Dresser Muffler, the "ears" are from a heat shield, the legs are pieces of handlebars, and its little curly tail is cut from a fork spring.

How can you weld that without it getting all ugly and discolored? or does the chrome go on after the welding?

    That's really neat.

Do 'hard core' bikers buy things like that or is it more the biker' 'significant other' that do the buying?

The Hard Core's don't buy any of this stuff, but there are a lot of guys (and gals) way into the H-D thing, and have the money. This could be a Mother's Day gift (its the next day) for one of MANY ladies who ride HOGs.

I was going to torch it and stretch it out a bit, but got lazy. If I didn't want to source Harleys as much as possible, I'd just wrap some welding rod around a pipe and use that.
